On Monday, October 23rd, 2017, the Dawson Creek RCMP received a report of a workplace injury at a local business.

It was reported that a light tower trailer fell approximately 18 inches on top of a worker and pinning him beneath the tongue of the trailer. Due to the quick thinking of a co-worker the trailer was lifted off the male and paramedics arrived to provide medical assistance.

The worker suffered major injuries and has been air lifted to another hospital.

The Dawson Creek RCMP are assisting Workplace Safe BC in their investigation.
