On Tuesday, November 7th, 2017, the Dawson Creek RCMP received a report of a multiple vehicle collision on the Alaska Highway near the 237 Rd in Farmington, BC.

It was reported that a Toyota Camry travelling north on the highway, lost control and was struck on the passenger side by a southbound gravel truck.

The driver and passenger of the Camry sustained injuries and were transported to hospital. The driver of the gravel truck was unhurt.

It was later determined that the passenger of the Camry succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital. The man’s family is being notified and no names are being released at this time.
